Q: Is this insurance dependable?

Absolutely! The policy is underwritten by Lloyd's, the world's oldest and largest insurance market. Q: Can't I just buy travel insurance through a cruise line?

Although it is possible, it's generally safer to purchase travel insurance from a dedicated insurer. A major benefit of travel insurance is the protection of your investment should the travel carrier cease operations. If the cruise line went bankrupt either before or during your excursion, it's quite likely that any insurance you purchased from them might also become worthless.

Q: Can I buy medical insurance after my trip has begun?

Yes, but your coverage would be from the time you purchase your policy forward; in other words, it won't be retroactive so you would not be able to claim for anything that has already happened.

Q: If I cancel my trip, can I cancel my insurance, too?

Yes. You can cancel your policy coverage any time before it goes into effect and receive a full refund, no questions asked.

Q: How long does it take to get my ID Cards and Policy?

Your ID Cards will be included in the Confirmation email and you can print them out immediately. There will also be a link you can follow to download the Policy, as well as one that will allow you to log into your ClientZone.

Q: What's a ClientZone?

It's like having your very own control panel to manager your account. When you log into your ClientZone, you'll be able to:

  • - Extend or renew your insurance.
  • - Reprint an ID Card.
  • - Obtain a Visa Letter, as required by some embassies and consulates. You can also use it for the Schengen Visa.
